Tensile Structure Fittings

Tensile structure fittings are the load-bearing metal connectors used throughout a membrane structure — node plates, elbow connectors, base shoes and cable eyes that join membrane, cable and steel into one stable system. They are laser-cut, bent and welded from stainless and machined to fixed dimensions for repeat use across a project. Each fitting sits where a force must change direction — where a membrane edge meets a cable, where a cable meets a column, where two surfaces meet at a corner — and it transfers that force without deflection. Consistency matters, because a fitting that varies between batches risks a mismatch on site.

Tensile structure fittings are the load-bearing metal connectors used throughout a membrane structure - node plates, elbow connectors, base shoes and cable eyes that join membrane, cable and steel into one stable system. They are laser-cut, bent and welded from stainless and machined to fixed dimensions for repeat use across a project. Consistency matters, because a fitting that varies between batches risks a mismatch on site.

Because these fittings are ordered in volume and reused across many nodes of one project, we run them as batches on the same tooling. Raw stainless plate and tube are pre-locked, nests are optimized in the laser zone, and bending and welding parameters are fixed for the whole run, with the triple-inspection check applied to each batch. The buyer gets node after node that repeats the same hole position and weld quality, so installation crews can assemble by pattern instead of measuring each piece. Repeat reorders come off the same documented setup with shorter lead times.

Custom Dimensions & Specifications

Non-standard product - all dimensions, tolerances and finishes are manufactured to customer drawings and customized per project requirements

Applications

Membrane roof node assemblies. Node plates repeat across the roof's connection points, letting crews pre-assemble subframes to a known pattern.

Column-to-cable connections. Base shoes and cable eyes transfer the cable pull into the column head, with consistent hole positions for fast bolting.

Corner and ridge nodes. Elbow fittings change the force direction at ridges so the membrane and cables meet at the designed angle.

Customization

We adjust dimensions, stainless grade, surface finish and hole layout to your drawing, and support OEM packaging. Mixed types can be combined in one order.

Packaging & Transportation

All parts are wrapped with custom EPE foam to protect corners and surfaces, then packed in sturdy, fumigation-free plywood crates or galvanized steel crates for safe international shipment. Trade terms: EXW and FOB.
