Membrane Clamp Bars

Membrane clamp bars are continuous profiled bars that press a membrane edge into a receiving channel along the perimeter of a tensile structure. The bar is laser-cut and formed to a profile that locks the fabric edge in the channel, then fixed at intervals with bolts. Unlike point clamps, a clamp bar acts along the entire edge, so the membrane is held in a straight, even line and the load is spread continuously. This gives a cleaner edge finish and reduces the risk of the fabric working loose between clamps. They are the standard edge component on channel-based tensile systems.

Because bar length, profile and end treatment are defined by the channel and panel layout on your drawings, we produce each bar to those coordinates rather than to a stock length. The laser cutting and bending lines set the profile and cut bars to exact panel lengths, and we machine end notches where bars meet at corners. A sample or prototype section can be supplied to confirm the bar slides into your channel before the full production run. The buyer benefit is bar sets that drop straight into the channel on site - cut to length, notched and hole-punched - so crews simply seat and bolt them.

Applications

Channel-edge membrane roofs. A continuous bar locks the fabric into the channel along the whole perimeter, giving a uniform edge with no loose gaps.

Multi-panel facades with repeated edges. Bars cut to exact panel lengths make each panel edge interchangeable and speed up facade installation.

High-wind coastal edges. Continuous clamping spreads wind-uplift load along the bar instead of concentrating it at isolated bolts.

Customization

We customize bar length, profile shape, end notches, fixing hole positions and stainless grade to your channel and panel drawings. Samples/prototypes supported; OEM/ODM available.

Packaging & Transportation

All parts are wrapped with custom EPE foam to protect corners and surfaces, then packed in sturdy, fumigation-free plywood crates or galvanized steel crates for safe international shipment. Trade terms: EXW and FOB.
