Stainless Steel Membrane Clamps

Stainless steel membrane clamps are the jaw-type fittings that grip the edge of a tensioned membrane without puncturing it. Each clamp is made of two laser-cut stainless jaws that sandwich the fabric, tightened by stainless bolts through the plate, and shaped so the clamping edge is smooth and free of sharp corners that could cut the coated cloth. The clamp distributes the bolting force over a wider pad instead of a single point, which is what prevents the fabric from tearing under wind load. They are used along the perimeter, at ridge and eave points, and wherever the membrane must be pulled to a cable or a steel node.

Because the performance of a clamp depends entirely on the material and jaw geometry chosen, we let buyers specify both: the stainless grade (304 for inland use, 316L for coastal or chemical air) and the jaw shape, pad width and bolt spacing. Our laser cutting and bending lines then form the jaws to that exact geometry, and we can add a rounded or lined inner face if a more delicate membrane is specified. That control over material and structure means the clamp is matched to your fabric and environment - not a generic jaw that may be too harsh on the coating or too weak in salt air.

Custom Dimensions & Specifications

Non-standard product - all dimensions, tolerances and finishes are manufactured to customer drawings and customized per project requirements

Applications

Perimeter anchoring of PVC/PVDF membranes. The two-jaw design spreads pressure so the coated fabric is clamped along a line rather than at a punched hole, stopping edge tear.

Coastal membrane canopies. 316L stainless resists salt spray, so the clamps do not stain or corrode where ordinary steel would.

Ridge and eave tension points. Bolt-tightened jaws let crews fine-tune membrane tension on site by re-torqueing, which is faster than re-welding.

Customization

You can choose stainless grade (304/316L), jaw profile, pad width, bolt spacing and size, inner face treatment, and overall length. Drawings or samples are welcome; OEM/ODM supported.

Packaging & Transportation

All parts are wrapped with custom EPE foam to protect corners and surfaces, then packed in sturdy, fumigation-free plywood crates or galvanized steel crates for safe international shipment. Trade terms: EXW and FOB.

FAQ

Q: What is your sample policy?

A: Sample development takes 7–15 days. Samples are free if the value is under 1,000 RMB. Mass production strictly follows the approved sample.

Q: How do you control product quality?

A: We use a triple-inspection system (self, mutual, and specialized QC). This includes raw material verification, process monitoring (laser cutting, bending, welding), and 100% final dimensional checks against 3D drawings.

Q: What is your MOQ?

A: 1 unit. We support prototyping and small-batch production.
