Baggage conveyor shafts are the precision-turned axles that carry rollers, pulleys, drive wheels or idler wheels on a conveyor line – the central rotating (or fixed) axis around which the baggage path moves. We turn and machine these shafts to drawing tolerance, with accurately ground-turned bearing seats, keyways or retaining grooves and mounting ends. Because a shaft aligns every wheel and roller on the station, any runout or seat error propagates into belt drift and uneven wear. In service, shafts endure continuous rotation, belt tension and the impact of bags, so seat concentricity and end geometry decide how long the station stays true. We machine shafts to your drawing so they replace the original axle without modifying the housing, restoring alignment across the whole roller or pulley bank.
Shafts are accuracy-critical functional parts, so we support them with prototype development and material customization. We machine a sample shaft first to prove bearing-seat and keyway fits under assembly, then select the material and surface treatment to the load and duty of your line. This packaging is built for export handling and international transit so machined surfaces arrive undamaged. We trade under EXW and FOB terms.
