A baggage conveyor drive pulley is the powered drum around which the conveyor belt wraps to transmit motion to the baggage line. It is a precision-machined rotating component: a turned cylindrical body with machined shaft seats, end flanges and bearing interfaces, balanced so it runs true at continuous speed. On an airport conveyor the drive pulley carries the full tension of the belt and the repeated load of bags, so runout, bore alignment and surface geometry directly affect belt tracking and drive load. A worn or out-of-true drive pulley shows up as belt slip, drift, vibration and noise. We machine drive pulleys to your drawing so the shaft diameter, bore and mounting arrangement match the existing drive station, restoring the grip and concentricity the belt needs.
Drive pulleys are high-interface rotating parts, so we support them with prototype development and material customization. Before production, we machine a sample pulley to prove the shaft and bearing fit under real assembly, and we select the material and surface treatment to your duty rather than to a default grade. For drive-system engineers this de-risks a critical rotating part: the fit is proven on a sample first, and the material is matched to the actual tension and wear the pulley will see.

Applications
Main departure drives: The drive pulley powers the highest-throughput mainlines; a concentric machined drum keeps belt tension stable.

Packaging & Transportation
Each part is first protected with custom-cut EPE foam covering corners and machined surfaces, then packed into a sturdy, fumigation-free plywood crate or a galvanized steel crate, selected by part size and weight. This packaging is built for export handling and international transit so machined surfaces arrive undamaged. We trade under EXW and FOB terms.
