Baggage Handling Diverter Parts

Baggage handling diverter parts are the machined components inside a divertor or steering unit that routes bags from one conveyor line onto another – actuator-mounted arms, wheel guides, pivot shafts, rocker brackets and wear contact blocks. These parts sit where luggage is actively pushed sideways, so they must combine tight pivot accuracy with surfaces that survive repeated bag impact. We machine the pivot bores, shaft seats and guide interfaces to drawing tolerance so the diverter moves to position consistently and the bags leave on the correct path. Worn or out-of-tolerance diverter parts cause mis-diversions, bag jams at the junction and damage to luggage – failures that are immediately visible to passengers. Our parts restore the repeatable positioning the divertor needs to sort bags reliably.

Diverter parts are motion-and-position-critical, so we support them with prototype development and material customization. We machine a sample set to prove pivot and actuator fit before series production, and can tailor the contact material and surface treatment to the impact and wear at the divert point. For BHS integrators and maintenance teams, this de-risks a passenger-critical junction: movement is proven on a sample first, and the contacting surfaces are matched to real divert-cycle wear.

Pier-to-hall diverters: Diverters sorting bags to correct halls rely on accurate pivot parts to route luggage to the right flight.

Make-up and early systems: High-speed sortation needs repeatable arm positioning; machined pivot bores keep timing consistent.

Junction wear replacement: When diverter contact blocks wear, drawing-matched parts restore guidance and stop mis-routes.

Diverter parts are machined to your drawing or sample. Pivot geometry, contact material and surface treatment are customizable; prototype samples (7–15 days), OEM/ODM and 1-unit MOQ are supported.

Each part is first protected with custom-cut EPE foam covering corners and machined surfaces, then packed into a sturdy, fumigation-free plywood crate or a galvanized steel crate, selected by part size and weight. This packaging is built for export handling and international transit so machined surfaces arrive undamaged. We trade under EXW and FOB terms.
